Mama’s Taxi is owned and operated by Henry and Brenda Snelgrove, a husband-and-wife team with a passion for people and dedication to provide exceptional service. As longtime members of the community, Henry and Brenda purchased Mama’s Taxi with a shared mission - to continue providing safe, comfortable, and stress-free rides for both locals and visitors alike. As well as building and adding onto the services provided to offer more for their community.
With a strong focus on reliability, hospitality, and deep local knowledge, they’ve continued to offer a personalized experience within their services, including airport rides, scenic wine tours, and elegant wedding transportation. Whether you’re heading across town, catching a flight, exploring wine country, or arriving in style for your big day, you can count on the Snelgrove’s and their team to get you where you’re going - with care, class, and a personal touch.

Henry and Brenda Snelgrove have called Dahlonega home for most of their lives. Deeply rooted in the community, they raised their family here and continue to invest in the town they love through the local businesses they own and operate. Over the years, Henry and Brenda have become familiar faces around town—not just for their entrepreneurial spirit, but for their kindness, dedication, and community involvement.
When they’re not hard at work, you’ll find them pursuing one of their greatest shared passions: drag racing. Whether at the track or in the garage, they love the thrill of the sport and the time it gives them together.
Their story is a commitment—to each other, their family, their town, and their favorite pastime.
Martha has lived in the Dahlonega area most of her life. She knows and has traveled every corner of the county and the surrounding areas. She will regal you with history and folklore as you travel through our beautiful towns and mountains. She is most certainly the most experienced taxi driver in North Georgia with 20+ years behind the wheel.
